The project aims to redefine transportation and leverage the advantage of technology for social events, offering a reliable and safe alternative that allows individuals to enjoy their festivities while maintaining the highest level of safety.

What is Lyft After Party?

An innovative product service concept of autonomous car technology. Designed to prioritize the safety of individuals attending parties or events on the road and themselves.

Why partner with a shared-ride business, and why Lyft?

In the near future, car ownership is expected to decline as a lifestyle trend emerges where city dwellers no longer deem it necessary to own a vehicle. As a result, shared-ride services have gained prominence. Lyft, known for its friendly and enjoyable business ethos, has become an ideal partner for a project prioritizing passenger safety and security during their festive nights out.

Why does it matter?

According to New York State Police, drunk drivers cause more than 17,000 deaths annually. This equates to 310 funerals each week or one death every 30 minutes. In New York State, slightly more than 30% of fatal crashes are alcohol-related.
