Overview

The conceptual book design is based on “Blue” and contains content from Wikipedia.com. Helvetica is the only typeface used in this book design. Blue feather color papers are used throughout the book, and blue translucent acrylic sheets as the cover—finished touch with hand-binding Coptic stitch technique.

Why Design it this way

Blue Elements

The use of the color blue serves to accentuate and elevate the theme, resulting in a visually cohesive and captivating narrative. This integration seamlessly spans from the cover to the paper, book thread, typography, and graphics, contributing to a harmonious and engaging reading experience.

Book-Binding

Building upon the narrative of blue elements, the art of book-binding provides meticulous control over design aspects. Employing the Coptic-stitch binding technique ensures that the book effortlessly opens completely flat, enhancing usability and reader experience. Enhancing the design uses the blue translucent acrylic sheet as the cover to create a feeling of entering the world of blue when opening the book.

Helvetica

Helvetica is renowned for its clean and balanced design, much like how this blue book design effectively showcases the diverse meanings and applications of the term "blue." By utilizing a straightforward and neutral font like Helvetica, we ensure that content is presented without any inherent bias, allowing for clear and unbiased communication.
